The partner ministries of MNN, including long-time partner SAT-7, empower local Christians around the world, and the news shared by these ministries through MNN helps to raise support for their ministries.

Pastor Dawood is the lead pastor of the Arabic Church of Dallas, TX. He had to flee violence in Iraq at the age of 18 and went to Italy for refuge. He had known about the Lord from a young age but didn’t have a personal relationship with Christ until hearing the Gospel in Italy. He then relocated to America where his brother was living, settling in Dallas, TX. After a few years, he came to be a part of the evangelical church in his community where he now serves as pastor (since 2007). He says how the church gives Arabs a family, not only culturally, but also in Christ. Pastor Dawood started a nonprofit called World Refugee Care and he also was part of a SAT-7 ARABIC program called “Strangers on Earth,” which shares the Gospel in Iraqi dialect.

Mrs. Lucenay is a writer and blogger who has a missions background living and serving in Hong Kong for 13 years. She went to Hong Kong in 2003 with her husband, who pastored a local church. While living there, she grew to understand the Asian culture and learned how best to influence the people around her with the Gospel. She is applying this knowledge to her first book, looking at Biblical concepts studied in a cultural context. Ms. Stafford is an actress best known for her role of Michelle Thomas on the show Matlock. She has a background in journalism and began acting when she was hired to be in some major commercials. She has 30 years of acting experience and also enjoys working in production and directing. She dedicates her work to movies with Christian values or that contain a wholesome message. She will be starring in an upcoming romantic comedy called First Lady.

Mr. Abraham is the founder of Levant Ministries based in Washington DC. Having grown up in Palestine, he has a first-hand knowledge of the culture of Middle Eastern society. He lived through the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and came to America to attend college. He graduated from Liberty University and has felt a calling on his life to reach the young generation in the Middle East. Levant Ministries employs media technologies to share Christ with Arab speakers and hopes to mobilize the next generation to carry out the Great Commission.

Dr. Hedberg is a clinical psychologist in Fresno, California who is also a published author and podcaster. He has been working in the field of psychology for 50 years since graduating with his doctorate from Queen’s College in 1969. He also has over 10 books published including ones for the general public and a few for academic audiences. He believes mental health centers should be a part of a church’s community outreach, establishing services for the people outside of the church walls that point people to Christ.

Rev. Issa Kabar is the Associate Pastor of The Arabic Church in Houston. He has worked with the church for almost 6 years and has experience as a Gospel singer recording songs with SAT-7. His church ministers to the Arabic community, offering services in English and Arabic. Also, the church serves refugees from Iraq and Syria through the RED (Relationship, Evangelism, Discipleship) Outreach. A missions program called HOME (Health Outreach to the Middle East) provides mobile clinics and tangible assistance to suffering people in the Middle East.

Pastor Dave Bertolini is the Lead Pastor of Grace Community Church in Dallas, OR. He graduated from Western Baptist College (now called Corban University) and was a youth pastor for a few years before coming to Grace Church. He has been involved at Grace Church for over twelve years, starting off as an Associate Pastor and transitioning to Lead Pastor. Grace Church has a 100-year-old history and originally was a Mennonite church. It became non-denominational in the year 2000 to reach a younger generation and is currently undergoing remodeling and expansions. They support SAT-7 and enjoy being a part of the work taking place in missions worldwide.
